BORN PACING

Snyderman, the day old colt by Rocknroll Hanover from Classic Star (Cam’s Card Shark-Classic Wish) was literally born pacing.

Shortly after standing and nursing the colt was observed moving rapidly around in the stall sure footed and on the pace.

Nope, didn’t put a watch to him but Snyderman will sell in 2012 along the rest of the class of of 2011.
His older sister CLASSIC ROCK will headline our Harrisburg consignment this November.

TALESPINNER TRAGEDY

Noted the unfortunate passing of TALESPINNER (Conway Hall-Fairy Tail) the other day and suddenly the gifted colt’s erratic tendencies might be explainable.

Talespinner never lost a race when able to maintain stride for the entire mile but as the record indicates that didn’t always happen.

Still there’s the nagging suspicion that he might have indeed been amongst the best of his age group if healthy.

The dam Fairy Tail a Muscles Yankee from the great Victorious Tail will consign an Angus Hall Ontairo eligible sister in 2012.

A FIVE BAGGER

No less than five members of the yearling class of 2010 won baby races at The Meadowlands on Saturday June 11th.  Another one ROCKAROUND SUE (Rocknroll Hanover-Promysquous Lady) was a close second in 1:59.3 and might have won had Sears insisted.

The winners included KINGAPORE (Revenue-Queen Of Queens impressive in 2:03.3. That one is a brother to Queen Serene amongst others.

Then there was MEGA MUSCLE  (Muscles Yankee-Armbro Vitality) handy in 202.2 his second straight baby race win. Mega Muscle was the mare’s best foal since her Merrie Anabelle winning MUSCOVITE.

And there was BLOMKVIST (Muscles Yankee-Mallelujah) handy in 2:04.1.  BLOMKVIST was the first Mallelujah foal to look more like the sire Muscles Yankee than did his siblings.

Rounding out the quintet  were  the Rocknroll Hanover colts YEP (La Dolce Hall) and ROCKWEILLER (Lovely Shark)  The former won his debut effort handily in 1:57.4 while the latter made it two for two on the year closing in :26.4 to be along in 1:58.

ROCKIN ROLLIN

It was a spectacular day for Rocknroll Hanover as in addition to then above named, his sons TIME TO ROLL (Kikikate) and MY BROTHER GEORGE (Armbro Ophelia) clocked identical 1:56.3 wire to wire open length dazzlers the fastest times for the 19 race card.

TIME TO ROLL is the third foal of the brilliant Kikikatie and thus a full brother to Rockin Image and the super fast but erratic Grams Legacy.

MY BROTHER GEORGE owned by the Bellino family of Rocknroll Heaven fame is actually closely related to last year’s horse of the year being a half brother to Artistic Vision, dam of Rocknroll Heaven.

In all, Rocknroll Hanover has 30-2-year-olds to have started in this just underway 2-year-old session.

Late flash!  Make that 31` starters, SHAKERATTLENROCK (Fox Valley Shaker) was a handy 2-length winner in 1:58.4 on Monday at Pocono. The colt is a full brother to Pretty Katherine and Whole Lotta Shakin.
