The Perretti stallions Rocknroll Hanover, Muscles Yankee and Lucky Chucky will stand for 2013 at newly leased Perretti Farms of Pennsylvania where resultant offspring will be eligible for the slots fueled Pennsylvania Sires Stakes program.  All contracts and booking requests will be handled by the New Jersey office, as is customary.

At last count Rocknroll Hanover was a runaway leader in the all age earnings per foal category a feat even more impressive when you consider his oldest foal are but 5-year-old in 2012.
At last count, Rocky’s get accounted for over $16, million in earnings this year almost $2 million more than his nearest competitor.
Rocknroll Hanover stallion fee for 2013 will remain a $15,000 and of course the produce of all 2013 matings will be Pennsylvania eligible.

Guess who led all trotters in the all age average earnings per foal category?
Why it was REVENUE with an average earnings per foal total of $44,278.12.
Of course having a Hambletonian champion like Market Square and important aged performers like Hot Shot Blue Chip contributed mightily to the cause, Revenue’s overall contribution is expected to be as a broodmare sire.
Revenue is currently a popular stallion in Norway.
Placing second in the average earnings per starter category was the deceased Windsong’s Legacy sire of this year’s likely horse of the year Chapter Seven.
Windsong’s Legacy sire also of Perretti stallion Lucky Chuck stood at Perretti Farms of New Jersey during his abbreviated tenure.

Perretti Racing Stable’s thoroughbred FORTY TALES a 2-year-old son of Tale Of The Cat could be headed for bigger and better things following an impressive maiden debut at Aqueduct for leading trainer Todd Pletcher.
Of interest is that a thoroughbred maiden might race for purses of $62,000 at least 10 times more than a standardbred maiden might race for.
Could be a lesson to be learned there in that all 2-year-olds were untried yearlings the year before and many have been purchased at auction according additional opportunities to recoup money spent.

Hambletonian sire Muscles Yankee will join Rocknroll Hanover at the Pennsylvania location and will again stand for a fee of $10,000. Joining those two in the spirit of consolidation will be 2009 freshman trotter of the year LUCKY CHUCKY (Windsong’s Legacy-Aerobics). Lucky Chucky stood his first two years at Winbak of New York but for 2013 he’ll stand at our Pennsylvania location for a fee of $5,000.
