DREAMS COMIN TRUE
Looks like the “dream” is indeed happening in the wake of another successful week for for impressive first crop stallion Dream Vacation as 2-year old BON VOYAGE scorched the Freehold oval in 1:57.2 capping a 1-2-3 finish for Dream Vacation fillies in the $85,000 Sire Stakes final.

The Dream Vacation’s are good horses very adept at all sized tracks.

AND MONEY MAKIN MUSCLES
HER CULESE (Muscles Yankee- Flirty Two) and DODGER BLUES (Vernon Blue Chip) took their respective Moni Maker eliminations at The Red Mile as Her Culese followed her World Trotting Derby sweep in impressive style..

At Balmoral both American National eliminations went to Muscles Yankee fillies with Merrie Annabelle winner Miss Wisconsin winning in 1:59.2 and shortly thereafter BELLE OF THE BALL (Muscles Yankee- Summer Belle) lowering the Balmoral track record to 1:56.4.

We’ll be taking some very choice Muscles Yankee fillies to Harrisburg including VULCANIZE the first foal of the well remembered My Starchip and GREEN MACHINE the first Muscles from Southwind Emerald.

Amongst the headline Dream Vacations include MY STAR TRECKER a three quarter sister to the above mentioned My Starchip. AFTERNOONER this year’s High Noon Tea edition is also quite nice.

Got a look at some of the Harrisburg colts and at first glance WESTAVERDE (Western Ideal-Paulas Promise) has the makings of a very nice colt.

MODERN DESIRE (Wendy M Hanover) will not be as large as brother Modern Art but then again he’s not supposed to be being a Real Desire instead of an Artsplace. He’ll do!

PALONE RANGER (Western Ideal-Mercy Mercy Mercy) came right back in the Metro elims and should be one of the favorites in the million dollar Metro final on Saturday.

POINT TO PONDER
In light of the disappointing start to the selling season that we saw last week, it is rapidly approaching the time for some serious introspection in terms of just where the priorities really lie.

Item: Why would someone buy a racehorse unless they happen to be a fan or advocate of horse racing?

We’ll have something to say about that next week.
